- Fabian became an ordained priest when he was 60 years old on 27 Mary 1948 in Sioux Falls, Iowa at St Joseph’s Cathedral. He studied at St John’s Seminary in Collegeville, Minn. in September after his his mother died. He served as chaplain at McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls and was pastor at Marion, Wauby and Bridgewater before he retired.
