- When the 1900 and 1910 censuses were taken, this family was living in Merrill. In both censuses Emmelene’s name is spelled Delima. In the 1900 census the family name is spelled “Sharkey”. In the 1910 census the family was living at 500 Cleveland St. in Merrill. Henry was a teamster for a sawmill. Living with Henry’s family in 1910 was his mother, Constance; his brother, Joseph whose marital status is divorced; his daughter, Isabelle Richards whose marital status is widowed; his granddaughter, Leona W. Richards who is 2 years old; and an aunt, Cealie Joyell. This family moved to Cloquet, Minnesota in about 1912; then to Kenosha, Wisc. in about 1928. Due to an accident, Henry, Sr. became blind at about 45 years of age. When the 1930 census was taken, the family was living at 6804 31st Ave. in Kenosha. Ralph and Frank were laborers in an auto factory and Leland was a laborer in a bed factory
