shown as Celia Boyer Sharkey; born in Watertown, Wisc ca 1860. In the marriage record for George Chartier and Anna Junkherr, his mother’s name is spelled Canilia Boyer. When the 1900 census was taken, this family was living in Merrill, and Louis’ wife’s name was Celia and the family name was Chartier. When the 1910 census was taken, the family was living at 400 Pier St. Louis was laborer at a sawmill, and there was no wife in the family. When the 1920 census was taken, Louis and what appears to be a second wife were living in Superior City (Duluth), Minnesota. Louis was Chief of Police in Duluth, Minnesota.
